In the Fall of 2021, I was a selected artist for the Window Front Project, Hispanic Heritage Month. Celebrating artists who identify as American Indian and Alaska Native, Hispanic, Latina/o/x, of whose ancestors are from Central or South America, including indigenous tribes, Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and any other regions that identify with these cultures.
One intention of this display, the largest collection of skateboards ever shown in Eugene, is to recognize the advancement of the Non-Trad skateboarding movement and celebrate diversity in skateboarding. The curated artwork features artists from Queen Vandals Collective(QVC), an international art collective supporting women, trans and gender non-binary people in the Graff and Sticker communities.
